Q3 2024 - Mexico to Europe
TLDR
From hurricane prep at Community Lab X in Tulum to conferences in Germany and Czech Republic, Q3 2024 was packed with travels, new collaborations, and the launch of the Regenerative Neighborhoods Movement at the Free Cities Conference.
Hey Regen Tribe family!
We've had an amazing few months packed with travels, new ideas, and exciting collaborations, and we're thrilled to share what we've been up to. Here's a quick recap of the latest from July to September.
**July 2024**
We wrapped up the season at Community Lab X with Oscar and Sonia leading a hurricane preparation before the summer.
As the first tropical storm hit Tulum exceptionally early, we got the chance to see what needs improvement and implement fixes before our departure to Europe, leaving the community under care of our Property Manager & Kitchen Lead, David.
Prep included making sure all the infrastructure is ready to deal with rain and heavy winds - lots of roofing work, furniture rearrangements and establishing proper protocols in case of emergencies.
One pillar of our community is animal sanctuary - before we left we neutered our adopted kittens as they finished 4 months. That meant lots of warm care and snuggles.

After closing the season in Tulum we left to Europe for a birthday celebration of our advisor, Michael, in Prague. We spent two weeks living together, exploring the city and kicking off our nomadic summer in a beautiful way.
By the end of July, we moved into a shared apartment in Berlin, where six of us started co-living.
As we move around, we seek to build a sense of community wherever we are, that's why we make an effort to book bigger spaces that can host multiple people at once.
Studying and redesigning collective living is a process we are committed to fully.
And it feels so good.
Plus, Berlin in the summer is pretty magical!
**August 2024**
August was a bit more grounded–we focused on organizing and co-working from home. As we moved around, we find value in balancing our time between exploring and staying put to process everything we've been learning.
Living with other passionate individuals help us stay motivated.
In the beginning of our co.live we set intentions for upcoming month and kept each other accountable, and cheered each other on with our personal goals.
Even though some of us work on different projects, there was a strong sense of alignment and support in our shared space.
Our work is our life, and our nomadic community is a prototype of lifestyle practices we find healthy and nourishing - we make time to explore, work out, cowork and cook together. And as we do, we document the journey to make that lifestyle accessible to more people around the world.
During this month in Berlin we participated in different community initiatives, from events at moos.space to meet ups around the topic of startup societies
**September 2024**
In early September, the core team–Oscar, Sonia, and Michael–moved into a smaller apartment in Berlin for two weeks. This was the perfect setting to start focusing on a new branch of our project: designing and managing co-living initiatives. We're super excited to see where this takes us in the coming months!
It's been a whirlwind few months and we're feeling energized & ready to keep pushing forward with the vision of regenerative neighborhoods. Thanks for being part of the journey!
