Q1 2024 - Vitalia Start up City & CLX kick off

The year kicked off at Vitalia pop-up city in Honduras, followed by the launch of the Regen Tribe Agent Program and the activation of Community Lab X in Tulum with Regen Week 2024.

2024 is off to an incredible start, and we're beyond excited to share everything we've been working on during these first few months. From community building in Honduras to launching a new regenerative project in Tulum, there's been a lot of progress, collaboration, and inspiration. Here's a recap of what's been happening in Q1!

January & February: Vitalia Pop-Up City & Regen Tribe Agent Program

The year kicked off with Sonia, Oscar, and Michael arriving in Vitalia Pop-Up City located in Prospera, a special economic zone on the island of Roatan, Honduras. For those who aren't familiar, Prospera is a unique hub for innovation, offering a flexible regulatory framework to attract forward-thinking entrepreneurs and organizations.

Vitalia's mission is bold -- making death optional by incubating cutting-edge biotechnologies focused on longevity. The pop-up city is just the start, as it aims to build a permanent community of entrepreneurs dedicated to this mission. Over the course of January and February, our team contributed by helping to develop an organizational chart for Vitalia and implementing community-building strategies through various events.

We also connected with the visionaries behind Prospera, working together to seed a collaboration plan, which includes building out a community house for future residents.

Regen Tribe Agent Program launch

In parallel, on January 6th, we launched the first edition of our Regen Tribe Agent Program, a vocational training program for regenerative neighborhood consultants.

The 6-week course, based on our 10-step Community Alchemy Guide, introduced future Agents to the theory of creating regenerative neighborhoods.

At the end of February, 6 Agents successfully completed the course and earned the title Agent-In-Training, qualifying them for on-site training in one of our regenerative neighborhoods.

March: Launch of Community Lab X in Tulum

March was HUGE for us!

After leaving Honduras, we made a quick stop in Miami before heading to Tulum, Mexico, to activate a new community project in the Caribbean jungle -- a prototype regenerative neighborhood.

The property, featuring 12 cabins and events amenities, had previously functioned as a retreat center.

Our goal? To prove our community model and host a 10-week Community Co-Creation Residency, which is a continuation of our Regen Tribe Agent Program.

We named the project Community Lab X, and by mid-March, we were on the ground assessing the infrastructure and preparing for the arrival of community members and visitors for Regen Week 2024.

This week-long gathering (March 21-28) brought together regenerative leaders for workshops, neighborhood tours, and collaborative events designed to foster connection and co-creation.

During Regen Week, we visited four regenerative neighborhoods in the Tulum area where we visited Kuyabeh, MotherTree Tulum, Green Dream and Community Lab X as part of Regenerative Neighborhood Tour series. That way people coming from different places in the world could see what community living could look like.

We also hosted a housewarming event at Community Lab X, which saw us housing 24 people at once.

It was a lot of work but also incredibly rewarding to see the space come alive with such vibrant energy. We were honored to host the indigenous Arhuaco tribe along with many other regenerative creators, making it a truly special experience.

We're just getting started, and things are about to get real exciting at Community Lab X!
